Next Group Repatterning

We will be starting the Group Repatternings again on Tuesday, October 5th at a new time, 7-9 pm and we'll meet every other Tuesday until the end of the year, for now. Bring a notebook and a pen, and if you get chilly easily, a little blanket or jacket. Reservations are not necessary, but it helps me to know in advance so I can set-up the room accordingly. You can email me at groups@life-spotter.com or text me at
512-947-6115.

We'll kick-off the fall season with a repatterning we have not done yet; the Belief Repatterning. In this Repatterning we will identify and examine life-depleting beliefs, our own, societal, and even generational beliefs (beliefs held by our parents and ancestors). Some of the beliefs we will identify may not make any sense to you, sometimes because they are made very early in life or we have an imprint of someone else's belief we do not realize that we resonant with. It is not necessarily a hurtful past experience that taps into our present pain and limitations. It is more a resonance of a belief and/or feeling about that past experience.

Don Miguel Ruiz talks about this in his book, "The Four Agreements", that your life-depleting beliefs are agreements. He says that our beliefs/agreements are like strong addictions, and that we are addicted to the beliefs that tell us, " I'm not good enough, I'm not intelligent enough. Why even try? Other people are better then me" and so on.

In Byron Katie's book, "Loving What Is", she states that a belief can come from a thought. Thoughts are harmless unless you believe them, especially when the belief is not based in reality, but a story you told yourself. The belief is attaching to that thought, true or not true and it's the attachment to your thought/belief that is what causes suffering.

We will defend and justify our beliefs at all cost, yet it is what causes the majority of our pain, in my opinion. At least I found this true to myself. The only thing holding us back is our beliefs. Let's not allow ourselves to hold ourselves back any longer.

I am really looking forward to seeing everyone. I really missed you guys and the Group Repatternings.
